ACGL Parking Participants,
As you may have noticed recently, there have been changes in the parking space rental procedures at ACGL #81. Mr. Danny Levin had superbly managed the facility and parking rental for many years. Unfortunately, Mr. Levin suddenly passed away a few months ago. This major event caused the Arlington Centennial-Glebe Temple Corporation to restructure its Board membership and business practices. These new procedures will have some impact on your parking space rental participation.
The Board has opened a Merchants account which allow us to begin taking credit card payments electronically. It is our intent to fully automate the parking rental process. In September-October 2018, we will provide a payment link to your payment designee where that person can access our website through the link and make the appropriate payments. When we process the credit card payment and receive approval, we will provide a receipt electronically which will be used as a parking placard when printed by your payment designee. In the case where a company is paying for more than one (1) parking space, a separate receipt will be provided for each payment.
We intend to raise the monthly parking fee from $50.00 to $100.00 per month, beginning in January 2019. We have not raised the parking fee in years, and we are significantly underpriced at $50.00. However, this may cause some of you to seek other arrangements. We understand that and this will allow our one-year long waiting list to be activated.
Prior to the launch of the online or app payment system, payments will be made by check made out to the Arlington Masonic Temple (AMT) and mailed to: P.O. Box 3078, Arlington, VA 22203.
Until the electronic payment process is fully in place, we will continue to mail parking placards for the months paid for. Some of you have paid beyond December, and we will ask you to add an additional $50.00 for those months previously paid for in 2018. If it is more convenient for you to begin paying the $100.00 per space starting in January 2019, you may mail checks to the address above until 1 October 2018.

When is monthly payment due?
Payment is due by the 1st business day of the month. A $15.00 late fee will be applied to your account is payment is received after the 5th.
